Trip - Florida Inshore Fishing Charter for Skilled Anglers on December 21, 2025

Courtney is an awesome guide - great dude, and put me on some nice fish. He knows the local spots like the back of his hand, and put me on my PB trout and redfish. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a fun kayak trip with lots of fishing. He also makes a killer Pb & J. Thanks Courtney!

My wife and I booked a day out and we had a wonderful time. Courtney thoroughly explained the operation of pedal kayaks as we have only paddle kayaks. After launching, he guided us to the best spots and showed us where to cast our baits. We caught a number of trout and one beautiful Red. We plan to book another trip out with Courtney and have referred him to others. It felt as though we knew him longer than the six hour trip. He provided everything, from rods and reels to lures and snacks and water. We loved it! (We are on the search for our own Hobie Kayaks now too!) Thank you for a fantastic time! John and April

Captain Courtney did an excellent job of putting us on the fish despite the wind . He is very knowledgeable and knows how catch fish. He is very patient and makes sure you have good experience. Captain Curtney suppled everything to make our trip successful. The only thing we had to bring was bug spray and sun tan lotion. I would recommend to anyone booking a trip with Captain Courtney Ashburn. Tony Riley

Cory brought my father and me on a half-day outing. Cory was really attentive, from my early inquiries (before I even booked) until the end of the trip. He's approachable and definitely understands what he's doing. Cory worked his butt hard for us as we caught a ton of fish. He was also an excellent tutor, assisting my father and me in figuring out certain subtle skills. I can't say enough good things about Cory, but my dad and I both thought it was one of our finest fishing days ever. I'll certainly call Cory again if I ever return to that part of the world.

PDKFC is the only way to go when wanting to Kayak fish in the forgotten coast of Florida! The guide, Courtney, is extremely entertaining and full of knowledge, top tier gear, top tier Kayaks! This was my first time fishing in Florida and I think it's pretty clear that I'm coming back sooner than later, besides catching awesome fish, we saw manatees, sea turtles, sharks, and so much more! If you're looking to fish on the gulf coast of Florida, this is a must! Thanks again to PDKFC for giving us a fantastic vacation!

I spent the morning on the water with Courtney today. I had an amazing time learning about the area and learning how the tide and wind will influence these fish. I caught 7 very nice redfish and several speckled trout. Courtney was very patient with me and helped me fine tune my inshore techniques. If you are looking for a kayak fishing guide I highly recommend you give Courtney a call
